Job Description:

-To develop marketing strategies and successfully create and execute marketing programs targeted to institutional, business and consumer clients.
-To lead and implement the annual marketing plan which is aligned to the overall strategy of the bank.
-To set up the overall annual marketing budget.
-Conducting market research and competitive analysis, organizing direct mail campaigns, sending business and news updates to banking clients and managing online promotions.
-To be in charge of selling the bank’s products and services in the market by comparing them with the products of the competitors. The head of marketing will be responsible for devising strategies for the same and executing them as well.
-Creating awareness of products and services among the bank’s Staff: The staff of the bank can play the most effective role in marketing the products. Hence, the marketing officers have to organize workshops, training programs to aware the staff of various new products of the bank.
-Managing social media by ensuring that the bank is advertised properly and effectively in the social media platforms.
-Promoting products and services of the bank by ensuring that the special feature of a product or a service is properly priced in front of the customers so that the products are sold as much as possible.
-Preparing materials for marketing of the bank’s products or services and also designing the relevant attractive materials for marketing products or services so that their features are highlighted in a reader-friendly way.
-Coordinating with advertising agencies to ensure that products and services are properly advertised.
-Searching for new (and helpful) marketing' tools (Product Management tools , Marketing automation tools , Product Information Management tools….

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications studies or a related field
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in marketing is an advantage.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in the banking sector.
  • Good experience in measurement and research methodologies.
  • Highly developed communication and reporting skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic & English.
  • Highly developed skills in use of relevant IT packages including Excel. Word, PowerPoint etc...
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills that can inspire.
  • Ability to build good relationship with the internal / external customers.
  • Problem solving & analytical thinking
